Tuesday Wednesday Thursdays
Session run for hour and 15mins. However, this time can be negotiated as for some couples they may need up to 2 hours. The initial consultation will allow up to 1.5hrs. Subsequent sessions tend to be 1hr and 15mins each or negotiated.
After the initial consultation, 4 sessions are usually a good start for couples. For some couples it also works to mix up sessions with individual sessions. For example, some couples like to have their initial session together then have a session each then have a couple’s session for their 4th session. Every couple is different, and it is part of the process to discuss and negotiate with each other the individual needs of each couple.
Payment
NOTE: Therapy Fee increases 1st July 2025
Preferred payment is by direct deposit or cash. See Payment page for full payment options

Therapy Fees (From 1st July 2025)
- $165 Initial session (1-1.5hrs)
- Then
- $125 for subsequent sessions (1hr & 15mins)
- $150 (1.5hrs)
- $185 (2hrs)
Sound and Safe Protocol (SSP)
Payment for SSP App only. Clients need to purchase individual sessions or package separately.
Prepare to have sessions between 1 – 1.5 hours with SSP.
- $300 – Individual adult
- $500 – Per Couple
- $200 – Youth (11-18 years old)
- $800 – Family (Up to 5 members)
- 12 Month access to SSP from initial SSP session date.
Private Health Rebates
You may be eligible for Private Health Rebates if you have Police Health & Emergency Services Health and Medibank Private cover. You will need to check with your Private Health Insurance for Extras cover, you may be able to claim rebates for counselling and psychotherapy.
Counselling via Zoom at Maria Hull Noosa Counselling
Please ensure –
- You are in a quiet and private space away from interruptions.
- Your video and microphone are working prior to session.
- You have legal identification with photo available for identification confirmation.
